The objective of an Engagement Review is to evaluate whether the engagements submitted for review are performed and reported on in conformity with applicable professional standards in all material respects. An Engagement Review includes elements under SSARS or elements under the SSAEs that are not included in System Reviews.

The system or engagement review report will conclude the peer review rating of pass, pass with deficiency, or fail with significant deficiency.
